Hi, I’m Kamryn.
Here I am! Aren’t I adorable?
I’m 14 years old and will be turning 15 in December. The 8th, specifically, in case you feel like sending along a little birthday message. Ugh, 15 seems so old! Like I’ll actually be a real, bona-fide teenager. My mom looks faintly nauseous every time the subject comes up.
I’m homeschooled for now but I’m going into a charter school in January because homeschooling is awesome but when you’re 15 and smart and lonely homeschooling just doesn’t quite cut it. I need to be challenged. I need friends. I need help passing the SATS so I can go to college and become a lawyer and then go into politics. I have big plans. I’m going to change the world, or at least America.
I methodically work towards my own personal growth, often while spilling my inner thoughts, ramblings, and personality to people on the Internet! Like yourself! Hello, person on the Internet!
I am unapologetically optimistic and confident and cheerful and nice, but I love debating. It’s a thing. If you have a negative opinion towards something I say on my blog and comment, I’ll likely be right there with my notebook and an enormous smile as I ask you why, exactly, you have that opinion, what is your logic behind it, come on, convince me, give me your arguments, and then I’ll argue back and have a lovely time. I won’t ever be rude, though, or cruel, so, you know, safe space!
I am enthusiastically supportive of feminist, LGBT, and other causes, and I have weird ideas about religion, as in, I have none, except for vague theories about a sentient universe. However, I also occasionally listen to Christian-y music and paganism fascinates me because it seems about ten times cooler than most of the other religions I’ve seen, even if there are the occasional people who sacrifice small animals. I also tend to use various gods when cursing, as taking the name of God in vain seems to be a no-no for most people and I’m trying to respect that. You’ll likely come across a lot of things like “Thank Odin!” and “Godscursed!”
I occasionally overuse things like CAPS LOCK and Exclamation points!!!!!! when particularly excited, although I like to pretend it’s not in an annoying way. Shhh. Don’t burst my bubble.
Most of my inner thoughts can be divined from the content of my posts, since I am totally not shy about who I am as a person, so, if you’re feeling curious, you know what to do.
See you around.
